Oladyi
Oladyi are small and thick pancakes usually made in Russian, Ukranian and Belarusian cuisines. The traditional batter for oladyi is made with wheat or buckwheat flour, eggs, milk, salt, sugar and baking soda. The batter may also be based on kefir, soured milk or yoghurt. You can add any fruits or nuts you want, depending on what you like. They are usually served with sour cream and jam or honey. I discoverd oladyi last year and all I can tell you is that you have to try this recipe.
