Ingredients

Dough

  • 210 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 50 g cocoa
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 90 g soft butter
  • 1 egg
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp orange extract

Filling

  • 500 g cheese
  • 100 g sugar
  • 90 g soft butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g semolina
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate ganache

  • 150 ml liquid cream
  • 150 g chocolate

Instructions

Filling

  • To start, put the cheese in a bowl together with the sugar, the 2 eggs and the soft butter and mix until it becomes creamy. I used a vertical mixer but you can also use a blender or food processor. At the end, add the semolina, orange, lemon and vanilla extract and mix until we have a homogeneous composition.

Dough

  • For dough, mix the soft butter with the egg and sugar with a mixer. Add about half the amount of milk, then add the flour but not all, all this while stirring constantly. After we have added all the milk and all the flour we add cocoa, baking powder, vanilla extract and orange extract.
  • Put in a round tray with a diameter of 20-22 cm baking paper and then add half of the cocoa top composition, add the cheese and then the remaining cocoa composition. Bake everything at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. After Paska is cooked, let it cool for 20-30 minutes in the oven with the door half open and then you can take it out and let it cool completely.

Ganache

  • After the Paska cooled down, we took care of the ganache. Heat the cream and add it over the chocolate pieces, let it sit for 1 minute and then mix. We add the ganache over the easter and optionally, you can decorate the easter as you want.
