Galette is a French dish and it has the origins in crepes. It's usually made with buckwheat flour and filled with a savoury filling. A common form of galette resembles a type of single crust, free-form pie with a fruit filling and the crust folded partway over the top of the filling. The recipe is simple and you can use any fruits you want.
